Dravidar Viduthalai Kazhagam Head Committee and Executive Working Committee Meetings held in Erode on Apr 2, 3, 2022. Party officials from all over Tamil Nadu gathered with enthusiasm. The Head committee meeting was held on April 2 at 11 am at the ‘Briyani Palayam’ arena in Kollampalayam, Erode under the chairmanship of Kolathur Mani. 15 comrades out of 16 committee members participated. During the Corona period, the movement continued to operate through the Internet, unable to function in public. The Head committee Group discussed in depth the next steps to be taken in the event of a partial relief of the Corona and the active use of the monetary power of the Union Government in the radical efforts of the brahminical forces in Tamil Nadu. Especially in India, the DMK in Tamil Nadu has put forward the principle of ‘Dravidan model’. The brahmins, the socially dominant exploitative forces, fear that development projects that incorporate social justice with the vision of the regime and this Dravidian movement will establish Tamil Nadu as a Dravidian ideological land. The AIADMK, the symbol of Dravidian policy and the BJP, is working to add strength to them. Members also expressed concern that the Dravidar Viduthalai Kazhagam had a historic obligation to defeat the arya-politics it was waging.
Dravidan Country, which started with the demand for separate Tamil Nadu state, has been adapted as the Dravidiam, Dravidian Nation, the autonomy of a separate Tamil Nadu state and has been dubbed the ‘Dravidan Model’. The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu continues to focus on ‘counter-swimming’ efforts that will bring about character changes in the administrative structure of the state. The domains of Periyar’s struggle to transform the marginalized people of the Dravidian community, including the downtrodden, backward, women and marginalized minorities, into a society with equal self – respect are sharpening. To sharpen this further it has become a necessity of the times to build a strong historical team past the political parties. It is clear to the people that sectarian identities, caste pride, and the belief that God will solve the problem are not going to solve the problems of people’s right to life. We saw this in the Corona period. It is okay to close the places of worship; People were just waiting to see when the cure or vaccination for the disease would be found. Only science has achieved that.
The Dravidar Viduthalai Kazhagam is planning a Tamil Nadu-wide campaign to make clear to the people that the slogan ‘Dravidan Model’ encompasses the rights and identities of Tamil Nadu, including self-respect and social justice. Economic policies that deceive the people of Tamil Nadu; Denied social justice; imposition of NEET; Governor’s transgression; Deprived right to education; Religious identity imposed to distract people; by integrating all the anti-scientific superstitions that are used as tools, DVK will corporation will carry out this campaign for all these
It has been decided to hold 11 zonal conferences and more than 400 street level meetings in the respective areas ahead of the conferences during the trip which will start on April 30 and end on May 14. It has been decided that comrades who can work together in areas of opportunity and those comrades should be involved in the efforts to participate in this campaign. Arrangements are being made to distribute campaign leaflets and leaflets to tens of thousands of people.
Its aim is to build a team of youth who will strengthen the ‘Dravidan model’, break down barriers and pave the way for ‘Tamil Nadu’ to move forward with its own identity and to mobilize the people, especially the youth, irrespective of party affiliation.
